What Is Meaning Of Solid Ovary Of Size 3cm?

i went to gyno here in panama and he said i have solid ovary which is 3 cm the problem is that he does not speak English and I could understand tha tit can be tumor. i will go to another gyno because I prefer to understand what is going on. he gave me tests and radiology to do. but in the meantime what would be your diagnosis. I am scared

Thanks for writing in.

The ovary can measure 3 cm even in normal women. I suppose that they are talking about a solid 3 cm tumor in one of the ovaries which needs attention. Tumors can be cystic or solid and at 3 cm it is very small to categorically say what tumor it could be without additional details. It is possible that the report might be referring to a benign lesion in the ovary.
