What Is My MRI Report Suggestive Of?

recent mri Impression: The previously demonstrated 2.3 mm aneurysm of the left carotid artery at the level of the ophthalmic artery appears much smaller in size on the current study, measuring only 1mm. This could reflect spontaneous thrombosis versus post treatment change (if treated)..It was not treated?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

It is not thrombus. It can be post-treatment change or spontaneous regression. Consult a neurologist and he will assist you further.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
