Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I am a 61 year old white male (5 9 .220lbs) I was diagnosed with Parkinsons in 2011. 2 weeks ago my new Nuerologist had me undergo an MRI which showed a congenital brain abnormality in the gray mattere of my left frontal lobe. I don t know if I should be relieved that I don t have PD or not.
Please be more clear about the report what do you exactly mean by congenital brain anomaly, there are many minor variants which do not cause any kind of problem.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Haleema Yezdani, General & Family Physician
