Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I had an MRI and the diagnosis was as follows: Hello, I had an MRI a month ago and these were the results. 1. There is a marked strengthening of the normal cervical lordosis consistent of torticolosis / cervical strain 2. At the level of C4-C5 there is a 2mm broad based diffuse disc herniation contacting the Anterior surface of the spinal cord itself, with compression of the thecal sac and marked narrowing of the CSF space 3. At the level of C5-C6 there is a 2mm broad based diffuse right paracentral disc herniation with compression of the thecal sac 4. There is a mild bulging annulus at C6-C7
After going through your medical query I understand your concern and I would like to tell you that degenerative disc changes with thecal sac compressions might be causing you back pain which requires a physician and an orthopeditian consultation personally for further treatment.
Hopefully this information will guide you properly.
Kind Regards Dr Bhanu Partap
