Single live foetus is seen in longitudinal lie,fhr 139 beats per minute, AFI 15.4 cm, a loop of cord is seen around neck, age 37 wk 6 d, placenta is fundo posterior, placental maturity is grade 2, u/s edd 15/6/2016, clinical edd 5/6/2016 - according to usg of 31/5/2016. What is the chances of normal or ceaseaur mode of delivery
There is a single loop of umbilical cord is seen around the neck of the baby. This might cause respiratory distress during delivery. Caesarean section will be the safe option, however an experienced gynaecologist can untie the cord even in normal delivery also.
