What Is My X Ray Report Suggestive Of?

I ve had an X-ray following a pain in my coccyx and down my leg. The pain went away after 2 weeks. The xray has come back showing a shadow. My dr has recommended a MRI . I had breast cancer in 2013. Does she think it s back? If so why has the pain gone?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

The pain that begins in the coccyx and down the leg is commonly related to sciatica pain.

Through the MRI we can confirm the diagnosis and take proper treatment.

Meanwhile, I suggest using anti-inflammatory medication such as Ibuprofen to relieve the pain.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
