Dear sir,my name is rani ,now I am carrying 8 month, my question is , yesterday I have a check blood test ,in results sgpt-163Iu/l,sgot-89Iu/l,alk-phosphatase-250Iu/l,so please best suggestion how to normal levels my health and is there any problem my baby?please give the best suggestion asap
I think you might be having problems with hepatitis as SGPT/SGOT and alk-phosphatase are high.
Should keep regular follow-ups with your gynaecologist and infectious disease specialist.
Hepatitis testing should be run to confirm this. Your partner should get checked too.
Baby will get checked and tested for hepatitis and will get the vaccination at birth, do not worry. If everything is ok till now 8 month, that will be ok until birth hopefully.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Albana Sejdini, General & Family Physician
