What Is My Follicular Study Report Suggestive Of?

Respected Sir, i had undergone 10 day for follicular study. it had shown everything is normal like uterus size, ovarian, fellopian tube. nut it has the dimensions like left ovary - 15 follicular, 17 X 13 mm right ovary -10 follicular,17 X 15 mm. POD fluid is absent. can you please tell me any problem is there to get conceive? what is the range of follicles should be there to get conceive....

Hello,

The result that you gave above is almost fine. The ovaries are little smaller but do not worry for this. But the question you asked cannot be answered just based on this study. Whatever the results you shared, they are important but are not sufficient. The above result is fine for conception and additionally you need to do more tests. But as a doctor, I need to tell you that beforehand we actually should not tell whether you can conceive or not. If you cannot conceive after 1 year of successfull intercourse with your spouse then we can investigate and proceed accordingly to have baby with different techniques or medicines. But for now, so far, everything is fine.

You can also do some tests:
1. Estrogen, Progesterone, FSH, LH on Day 2 of your next cycle.
2. Thyroid Function Tests (T3, T4, TSH).
3. Androgen level
For now it is fine. If any problem arise in future, we can discuss about possible treatment for conception.
