Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hi Doc, what does this mean: ill-defined sclerotic focus in the L3 vertebra associated with slight cortical disruption and decreased height. The L2-L3 intervertebral disc space is noted to be narrowed. Spurs are seen lining the the margins of the lumbar vertebral bodies ?
X-ray findings are suggestive of spondylolisthesis (degenerative). Spondylolisthesis is a spinal condition that affects the lower vertebrae (spinal bones). As the age advances the disease causes one of the lower vertebrae to slip forward onto the bone directly beneath it.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Mohammed Taher Ali, General & Family Physician
