for 8 years ive had chronic anemia , low testosterone total level 22 , luetenizing hormone less than 0.1 fsh less than 0.2 47 yr old had pituitary scan (ok) no bleeding that I can tell rbc 4.0 hemoglobin 11, hermatocrit 34, platelets 422, psa ok , free testosterone 1/2 of low end of normal. Only association I can make ive been on methadone for crushed pelvis 4 yrs ago 50 mg daily for 4 yrs, can it just be that
Yes, you are probably right. Methadone may lower testosterone level in men. That's why you have a low testosterone level. All others test you have mentioned, are normal. Hemoglobin level is a bit low, but as you arena patient of chronic anaemia, 11 is good enough.
