What Is My Scan Report Suggestive Of?

Hi Doctor, I am 21 week and 2 days pregnant.This is my 4th baby.My 5th month scan report says that I ve placenta posterior, fundal and extending into the lower segment upto the margin of internal os and grade1 maturity. Doctor has advised me to take complete bed rest n avoid travelling. Had planned to go to hometown for Christmas. Kindly advise on whether it is safe to travel by train.

welcome to hcm...you haveplacenta praevia ..this has tendency of painless bleeding ..as a rule travel should be minimum ..and air travel is safest and worst is by road ...and train is safer than by road ...if you cannot avoid teavel then please take seat above wheels of bogey and instead of continuous journey take breaks .best of luck ..
