Pathologist and Microbiologist 's  Response
Hello,

Cysts in kidneys are a common occurrence.

As long as the cysts are asymptomatic, there is nothing to worry.

However, if the cysts become symptomatic causing abdominal discomfort, pain, dysuria or blood in urine, the cyst needs to be treated.

Surgery is the only means to treat cysts.

Hope I have answered the question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
