What Is My Transvaginal Ultrasound Result Suggestive Of?

Hi...I am 34 year old and had a TVS done today which shows an endometrial thickness of 19 mm with bulky ovaries and pcod. I had continued bleeding for the laSt one month and that is the reason I was advised for a scan. Should I worry...? ...pls advise

Thanks for posting in HCM.
I understand your concern.
The following things can be inferred based on the TVS report you have enclosed.
1. Endometrial thickness of 19mm is more than normal (up to 11mm can be considered as normal).
2. Bulky ovaries and presence of PCOD indicates you are having polycystic ovarian disease.
The above findings correlates with your complaints of continuous bleeding.
You need to take proper treatment by consulting with Gynecologist as this condition can lead to difficulty in conceiving due to irregular menstruation and ovulation.
However, with proper treatment and follow-up, it can be overcome.
