What Is Pain In Buttock While Having Herniated Disc Suggestive Of?

My husband had a herniated disc. He had surgery 5 months ago and has been doing fine. He overdid it this week-end, and now has a literal pain in the butt. It hurts to sit or lie flat or walk. Could he have reherniated the disc, or is it just muscle pain?

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, it may be muscular spasm or it may be due to disc disease without investigation and clinical examination it can not be differentiated, better to have some rest and try some analgesic if the symptom improved then it may not be disc disease if every thing became fine then it may not be disc disease, you can try Tab Diclofenac 50 mg once in day hope this information helps.
