What Is Reason And Cure For The Pressure In The Left Ear?

It feels like there is a lot of pressure in my left ear, exactly like the sensation you feel when you are in an air plane. I want to pop it but I am unable to. In addition to this, I am in a lot of pain which is very uncomfortable and I am not able to hear very well. What is wrong and what can I do to fix this?

ENT Specialist 's  Response
hello!
i think you are having an eustachian tube problem, which is a tube connecting your nose and ear!
when this gets blocked, the pressure sensation in the ear will increase and may also cause pain!
i would like you to meet your ent doctor to confirm this
meanwhile you can start steam inhalation 3-4 times a day and put xylometazoline 0.1% drops in your nose 2-3 times a day.
thanks
