What Is Recovery Time For A Colon Surgery In A 58 Year Old?
Hello, thank you for your time. My cousin who is 58yo, is an alcoholic who has multiple sclerosis, and 10 days ago had colon surgery which a section was removed. I have not seen him yet, but I just spoke with his sister, and she is worried...his system hasn t woken up yet is that normal? what is his recovery hopes?

The prognosis will depend on the stage of a tumour and distant spread. Generally, the results are good. In advanced stage disease, he has to undergo chemotherapy and/or radiotherapy also.
