What Is Recurring Upper Abdominal Pain Suggestive Of?

I have pain in mu upper left abdomen that comes and goes. A recent colonoscopy/endoscopy revealed no ulcer but gastritous and some acid reflux issues (but the pain is not where the valve closes and is worse with drinking of wine and spicy foods which I ve stopped). I have been on prilosic (sic) for a week which has been helpful but yesterday I fasted all day and later during the night the chronic pain came back. What should I consider doing next. My white blood cell count is normal and an ultrasound didn t show anything in the pancreatic area (which is where my pain is felt)?
