What Is Segmental Atelectasis And How Is It Treated?
Hi, This is Arbab Ahmed. i had a chest x-ray & the report details are:Lung fields- Linear opacity is seen in left lower zone. Rest is clear Basal Angle- Basal angles are normal Heart- Normal in TD Diaphragm- Normal in contour and level Bony thorax- Revealed no abnormality Comments: Sub segmental atelectasis (Lt) Now my question is what is the condition and is it completely curable?
HI Well come to HCM I really appreciate your concern, x-ray finding need to be correlated with the clinical condition for which the x-ray being done, at least the obstructive pathology could be likely still under lying cause of this is must to treat or known, it is not the big problem hope this information helps.
