What Is Soft Heart Murmur?

So,, My friend got her sports physical and it turns out she has a soft heart murmur.. I tried to research it but I m not good at looking up stuff, so can anyone tell me what a soft heart murmur is? No links please :( ***s and 10 points for the best answer...

Hello,thanks for choosing HCM.whenever there is highly abnormal folw of blood across normal valve or normal blood flow across abnormal valve in heart, a peculiar sound is generated within the heart and can be heard with stethocscope.This abnormal sound is called Murmur.when on auscultation such murmur is low in intensity we call it soft murmur.Usually it indicates mild or nonsignificant lesion in heart.
