Hello and welcome..
Thalamus is a part of brain situated between the cerebral cortex and the midbrain.. And play important role in relaying sensory and motor informations to cortex and also play role sympbody and alertness.
If there is bleeding inside it then symptoms most commonly contralateral hemianesthesia (numbness), mild hemiparesis, hemiataxia, and sometimes intolerable intractable severe dysesthetic pain in half of the body.
Hope this the answer.
Thanks
