What Is The Alternate Contraceptive For Yasmine?

dear sir, my docter has suggested to take yamini ls for prevent pregnency , i take tablets from ist day of periods and i have taking 6 days tablets, for this i feel uncomfortable , bomeet and not sleep well. this tablets effected me for above problems sir pl. consult me this tablet prefer me for my body. Am i take or not , any other precaursion for prevent pregnent. Am i stop to take tablet at this time and to take any other precaursion am i right or now pl . ans this

Hi,

According to your history the points that can help you are:
- Yamini tablets are combined hormonal pills which contain estrogen and progesterone in the form of Ethinyl Estradiol 0.03mg and Drospirenone 3mg respectively.

Some women may not get adjusted to a particular form of birth control pills sometimes. Changing the estrogen or progesterone in the tablets and choosing a different form of contraceptive pills the problem can be overcome as you mentioned. Examples are tablets with Ethinyl Estradiol 0.03mg and Desogestrel 0.15mg.

As you have stopped the pills in the middle of the cycle, you cannot expect the complete protection. So, please use some additional contraceptive method like barrier methods for this month and start a new pack with the new combination with your doctor's advice from either second or third day of the next menstrual cycle to continue the contraceptive protection.
