What Is The Appearance On The Leg And Thigh Which Is Like Lesions?

I have diagnosed basil cell carcinoma on my face, and I am having surgery on that this Monday. However, I have about 12 other lesions on my legs and thighs that have not been biopsied yet (primary Dr said probably same as ones on face, so didn t biopsy). These look different, and I thought basil cell carcinoma was not not metastatic. Some are raised and spontaneously bleed, and some have healed to a irregular tan spot on skin. This concerns me as it is on both upper and lower legs and on thigh. Any thoughts? I am a pharmacist, and know just enough to scare me. Thanks for your thoughts

Hi,

Do not worry. Go for complete removal of basal cell carcinoma. You may be alright. And you are right. The lesions oon extremities are not metastases, as BCC is not metastatic, but remain localised. The lesions may be actinic keratoses. You consult dermatologist for firm diagnosis and treatment. I hope you got my answer.

Thanks.
