What Is The Best Birth Control Method For A Woman With Severe Endometriosis?
Hello, I am 19. I've had a history of period problems, two assists on my ovaries, and was diagnosed with severe endometriosis in September. I'm on my period for usually 5 months at a time minimum. It's a lifestyle I've grown used to, but the two local Gynocologists I have been to both have just tried to get me to take birth control. I've tried many different forms of it and it all doesn't settle with my body. It hurts really bad when I have sex, and I'm really afraid I won't be able to have kids but my doctor puts it off like nothing is wrong. Lately for the past couple of months I have been peeing a lot! What could this reason be? I can go like every 20 minutes. Or anytime if I really want to and try. My stomach hurts because it feels like a constant pressure on my bladder. Please help!
Hi, I understand your concerns. Severe endometriosis might need surgical treatment like laparoscopic ablation ( we use a laser or heat to burn out the endometriosis tissue) since birth control pills are not working. Also you can try Injection gonadotrophin agonist which cure endometriosis. If you feel like urinating a lot it can be diabetes . Are you drinking excess water also. Get a random blood sugar done and follow up with us.
