I am a 66 yr. old female and have had depression for several years. I have tried several medications, with very ,little relief. My psychiatrist says I am bi- polar, but I can t tolerate the drugs for it. Is this going to last forever or will I ever be depression free?
Thanks for writing. If your Psychiatrist diagnosed you as a bipolar disorder patient. You have to take medicines for long time .Since Bipolar has two type of disorder i.e. Mania and Depression ,so for sure depression will be recovered. Please take your medicines correctly and regularly for optimum effect and recovery.
