What Is The Best Possible Treatment For Coronary Artery Disease And What Is The Usual Prognosis Of This Disease ?
60yrs, male with DM & HT for last 15yrs, diagnosed Corronary artery disease with tripple vessel disease. what could be the best treatment & what could be the prognosis ?

For triple vessel disease Cardiologists would recommend CABG if there is much block or surgical procedure replace the damaged arteries in your heart with vessels from other parts of your body like thigh or leg. This surgery is done by Cardiothoracic surgeons. Firstly you need to make changes in you lifestyle. You need to eat low salt, low carbohydrate, low fat diet otherwise you can get more disease. Avoid sweets, junk food, fried food, ghee, oily food. Also eat more fresh fruits and green leafy vegetables do brisk walking everyday for 40 minutes. Don't go for walk in cold wind or immediately after meal. Drink enough water.

Read your prob, the cause of this diease is atherosclorosis ( due to high cholesterol ).
DM n HT is cause of it you should get lipid profile n angiography, so that you come to know about extension of diease. treatment depends on result of angiography, if artery complete or partially block then you should get angioplasty or by pass as per cardiologist advise.
after operation artery become open n life span is increased. means prognosis is vary good if BP maintain on 140/90 n Hba1c is 7 or less then 7. so dont wait get angiography n start proper treatment as its prognosis is vary good.
