What Is The Best Time Of The Day To Take Losartan?

A) What is the best time of the day to take Losartan 50 mg.
B) I have been taking Losrtan 50 mg every morning for the last (1) year
and it doesn't seem to help reduce my my BP below 150 x 90.
C) Also taking Ramipril 10 mg at night and Amlodipine 10 mg in the morning.
D) Last week all tests - Treadmill, Echo Cardio Gram, ECG showed normal.
E) Slightly raised Cholesterol & Triglyceride levels.
D) Active 65 year young. (2) brothers highly qualified Doctors. A daughter
highly qualified Medical Researcher with Roche ? Genentech.
But feel helpless. Cardiologists say I have "Essential Hypertension"
E) Have been to Narayana rudayalaya, but not satisfied.
F) Most extensive Medical Check up by Thyrocare - Arogyam 1.6 + 1.7 - shows
up generally as normal.

- Losartan can be taken at any time...
If the BP is still high, add a Diuretic - say Hydro Chloro Thiazide 12.5 mg..
Later on, you can increase the dose of Losartan - 100 mg is the maximum dose...

- You can stop Ramipril / many do not prefer this combination of ACEI and ARB

- Continue Amlodipine - 10 mg is the maximal dose...

Life style changes - diet & exercise - are basic
Take a Statin - say atorvastatin / Take even if the values are borderline - because there is already another risk factor...
