Hi,

I'm really sorry to tell you that hysterectomy is the only reliable, appropriate and reasonable treatment for bladder prolapse. But I can tell for sure that surgery wouldn't hamper your sexual competence and activity in any way. The benefits of surgery would outweigh the risks. So please do undergo surgery and get your bladder placed in its appropriate place such that no complications like ulceration, trauma won't occur.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Pallavi M., Anesthesiologist
