Yes, my question is..... my husband and i are trying to conseve. I had my period the end of Oct like normal. I stayed off birth control from there. I had a period after that like normal, but the next time was extremely late and only 2 days and very light. And then nothing. And I'm suppose to have it this week but nothing. Iv taken an ovulation test and it never says i am, but took numerous pregnancy test and nothing. Should i go to my obgyn? Or wait?
Hi, I have gone through your question and understand your concerns. Delayed and scanty periods can be due to pregnancy or any hormonal disturbances like hypothyroidism, hyperprolactemia or polycystic ovarian disease. Ovulation abnormalities or no ovulation at all is also found in these conditions. If your urine pregnancy test is negative, then the chances of pregnancy are ruled out. I would suggest you to consult an OBGYN specialist to get properly examined, investigated including hormonal profile and ultrasound and get appropriate treatment. Hope you found the answer helpful.
