What Is The Best Treatment To Get Pregnant?

I am a40 yr2mo. old woman trying to get pregnant. I got my period on the 6th & then again on the 25th. I was sexually active in between. I m very concerned because this has never occurred before. Should I visit my doctor soon? What could be the cause?

Hello, and I hope I can help you today.

Irregular cycles are not unusual sometimes if you are over 40, so the fact that your period came early this past month is nothing to worry about. Most likely your next one will be normal,
or hopefully, you will be pregnant!

If you have sex every other day when you don't have your period you should conceive within a year. However if your periods remain irregular and you haven't conceived in 6 months, you may want to see a GYN doctor for a hormonal evaluation.

I hope this information was helpful, and best of luck getting pregnant!

Sincerely, Dr. Brown
