What Is The Best Treatment To Get Pregnant?

I am three days late on my period. I always start on the 26th day, but today is the 29th day of my cycle. I took a prenancy test last night and it was negative. We have been trying for a year now and I just don t want to get my hopes up. What could this be? I have never missed or been late on a period unless I was pregnant.

Home pregnancy tests should be done 3-7 days after the missed period with a fresh early morning sample of urine. You did not perform the test in the proper way and hence, please repeat it as suggested after a couple of days. You can also get an assessment of the serum beta-hCG titres for an earlier and better clarification. A trans-vaginal sonogram can be done one week after the missed period to know the status of the pelvic organs. Based on your history of perfectly regular cycles, your chances of pregnancy are high.
