What Is The Black Bump On Body? Why Is It Stinking?

i found a hard bump with a black center about two weeks ago. i ignored it at first bc it was not painful or itchy, but two days ago it really started to itch and became painful and red. i took a pair of tweezers and after working to get it out for about 15 minutes, i got a hold on it and pulled it out. a large, hard, white thing came out-it was very long and the more i looked at it, it appeared to be moving, but i can t be sure. it was very hard and smelled very bad. i put neosporin on it with a bandage over it, and now it is healing . what on earth could that have been?

Hi,

Welcome to HCM,

The disease you have ,is sebaceous cyst with infection.

Do not worry, it is benign condition.

Oral antibiotics may be taken with anti inflammatory drugs.

After clearance of infection , it should be removed surgically under local anaesthesia.

If it is not removed, it may reappear.

Have blood test to rule out DM and HIV ,before surgery.

You consult dermatologist or surgeon.
