What Is The Blood Discharge And Headaches When There Was A Condom Left Inside?

I was unaware that I had a condom left inside of me for 6 days. When going to the bathroom it fell out. I had been experiencing an odor and blood in my discharge. It is now out of me, but I have been having severe headaches/light headedness... could this be due to an infection of some sort?
