What Is The Bump Under The Punctured Hole In My Knee?

I had knee scope 8 weeks back, but there is a bump under punctured hole and it hurts, my doctor was surprised that he has done thousand on scope and never come accross such thing, asked me watch for a couple weeks and if it does not get better to see him again.
