What Is The Cause And Remedy Of Pain On Mastoid Process ?
Hi, I have a painful bump on my mastoid process. It is not moveable and not particular large. Painful to the touch. I cannot see it myself due to location and hair. I also feel some discomfort in my throat/posterior part of tongue, although it is hard to pinpoint where. The ear with the bump behind it is also experiencing discomfort when swallowing. I feel fine other than that.

It looks like you got mastoiditis secondary to sore throat. Get to an otorhinolaryngologist for further management. You need amoxil and some acetaminophen for the pain. Get assessed and see if its enough to be conservatively managed or needs intervention in case of abscess or any other complication.
