I am a 47 year old woman, who has had a bit of stress due to health issues with 2 of my children in the past 2 years.
3 weeks ago I was at work, standing, and got a sharp pain in my right leg, just behind a varicous vein, I knew something was wrong and my heart started palpatating. It passed while I sat down. 3 and a half hours later my neck pulse started racing on my left side and then my right arm and leg went slighty numb. So about 2 hours later I went to the emergency room and they did 2 EKG's (1 when I got there and one 8 hours from when the numbness started) they did a CT Scan, D-Dimer test and other blood work and everything came back normal. Since then I have had a neck dopler test, echocardiogram, leg doplers, test to check lungs for clots and cholesterol tests and thyroid tests all of which are negative. But I have had heart palpatations since and sometimes it feels as though I can't get a good inhale breath. In a month, I am scheduled to wear a heart monitor for 48 hours and see a neurologist. Could you please give me your opinion? Thank you for your time and expertise.
