Hello my dear
UTI can be caused by without any physical contact
It can caused by various other means as well like
Unhygienic conditions like unwashed undergarments and poor hygiene
Decreased water intake
through blood from remote infection

I would advise you to take plenty of fluids orally to flush off the urogenital tract
If it's a recurrent problem get urine test and culture and sensitivity test you may require a course of antibiotics under supervision of your doctor

maintain good hygiene
Change your undergarments very frequently
wash your hands before and after using restroom

Thanks for your question
Hope this answers your question
Best wishes
