What Is The Cause For A High Systolic Number In The Evening?

Yes I would like to ask for an 87 year old femaie going on 88, and the Systolic number continues to be high more so in the evening, but in the am the number can range from 168-175 diastolic range from 75-88, what should be done about this, she had heart surgery about 10+ years ago and on various medications for her BP I feel this is very alarming.

Ophthalmologist 's  Response
High systolic pressure is related to palpitation. In view of past history of heart surgery ECG is recommended. It is not alarming but cardiologist should clinically examine her and read the ECG. Further management be on cardiologist advice.
