What Is The Cause For A Lot Of Headaches For The Weather In Calgary Alberta?

Hello, I have been feeling light headed and getting a lot of headaches for a little over a month now. I live in Calgary Alberta and a lot of people get headaches this time of year do to the weather and chinooks which cause pressure change but I just took a trip to Cancun and was getting the same sensations and headaches down there. I think it may have to do with circulation? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Hi and welcome,

This may be due to cold weather. Headaches occurs with a change in the weather, hot or cold. Constriction of blood vessels will occur to retain heati the inner organs. Pain occurs due the alteration of blood flow.

Weather changes trigger chemical and electrical changes in the brain. This irritates nerves, leading to a headache.

Wish you speedy recovery
Thanks
