What Is The Cause For A Painful Bump In The Spot That Was Injected With Heroin A Couple Of Times?

Hi.. I am an IV heroin user.. I shot up in the same spot for the past few weeks. (the inside of my elbow/ crook of my arm) and i know i missed the last few times.. there is a very hard bump that hurts every time i move my arm. i m scared its an absess.. i ve had these bumps before but i ve never had one hurt this bad.

In your case, chances of getting abscess is high as u use same spot multiple time. It lead to increase bacterial infection. It would better yo consult a surgeon for bump and avoid using same spot multiple times.
