What Is The Cause For Headache While Suffering From Rhenauds, Scleroderma And Arthritis In Neck?

Hi my mother has Rhenauds and Scleroderma and has arthritis in her neck, she is going through a very bad time at the moment with severe headaches, she is taking neurofen plus and when that did not work she is now trying Solpadine, she is feeling sick and has no appetite

Hello!
I read your question and understood your concern.
I think that the severe headaches may be caused by tension type headache from muscle contractions starting in her neck.
Solpadine is effective for mild to moderate headache. Although in this situation I think that she may have be overusing normal painkillers , because of her medical history.
I would recommend to start on an antidepressant like Paroxetine or Sertraline.
I would also recommend a brain MRI to exclude a possible cerebral vasculitis, which needs treatment with steroids.
