What Is The Cause For Low Bilirubin, Low AST, Low Iron And High Magnesium Levels ?

I have low bilirubin, low AST, low iron and high magnesium level and I am wanting to know what would cause these problems. I had a ovarian tumor removed above 5 years ago it had grown up into my stomach, causing me to be cut all the way above my belly button, my surgeon said it was the size of a basketball, it was not cancerous. Since that time I have had problems with my stomach and have been diagnosed with GERD, I have stomach pain, burning, bloating, constipation everyday, along with weakness, fatigue and back pain . Can you help me figure out what is going on with my body.

Hi there
I am Dr Mittal
I have read your query
And I will try to help you with your query

The fact remains that post surgery, you have developed GERD
Which is basically a way of saying you have hyperacidity and related problems

The fact also remains that having low bilirubin and AST is absolutely harmless
It is high levels that are an issue of worry- seen in jaundice/hepatitis
The levels of bilirubin and AST can vary with the time of day and diet/medicines

As for the low iron levels, one definitely needs to take care of that
If you let me know the exact report of Hemoglobin, iron and your body weight,
I could tell you how to take the supplementation, and how long

Best of luck
Dr Mittal
