What Is The Cause For Raised Soft Area Around Nipples?

raised soft area around both nipples very noticable when erect had for 7 years not getting any bigger sometimes itchy look kinda like keloid ones bgger than the other mild skin pigmentation when not erect i guess the areola is clumping up to a cream looking lump but no dicharge ever , and not the whole areole just semi circle around nipple no pain been on proscar for 7 years for hair

Hello,
It is nothing but a areolar skin glands.
We call it as Montgomery glands.
Their function is partially unknown.
But scientists suppose they secrete a liquid that lubricates the nipple/areola area.
These Montgomery glands can be about unnoticeable, OR stand out as bumps on the areola.
They often become more prominent during pregnancy.
Some women have squeezed them and can get a white substance.
Thus you do not have to worry about this.
