What Is The Cause For The Pain Around Lower Ribs When On Omeprazolo?

I have pain 7 out of 10 in left side under, around lower ribs. Breathing or coughing the pain goes up to my left neck. 4 days ago I had hot and cold temperature. Pain in lower chest. Taken in ambolence to hospital. X-ray of chest clear. Ultrasound liver,stomach clear.released and given Omeprazolo 20mg and have taken 1 in morning for 2 days. This morning pain is not gone.

Hello,

I have studied your case.
Due to compression of this nerve root there is pain in your rib and chest.
Due to occlusion of vessels there can be burning sensation.

I will advise you to do MRI thoracic spine, HRCT [CHEST] and EMG- NCV [nerve conduction study]
X ray may not show details.
For these symptoms analgesic and neurotropic medication can be started.
Till time, avoid lifting weights, Sit with support to back. You can consult physiotherapist for help.
Physiotherapy like ultrasound and interferential therapy will give quick relief.
I will advise to check your vit B12 and vit D3 level.
