What Is The Cause For Weight Gain When On Metformin And Galvus For Diabetics?
It all started with type 2 diabetics which I contracted / noticed 3 years ago . Inintially I was on diet and excercise and was only taking medication for thyroid by taking thyronorm 100. I was loosing weight which was good and it almost came to 69/70 kg right for my height. Diabetics was slightly not in control due to probably starchy basmati rice which we get here. I thought that ineed to take drugs for diabetics and I in consultation with doctor started medication of metformin 500 twice a day, galvus 50 once a day . Nerve up OD after dinner(for my leg muscle issues )apart from this I have been taking simvotin 5. I also take Once in a week vitamin d rise. Problem is I am putting on weight suddenly and started looking not so right. Is any of the above medicine is adding weight to the body. Do I need to resort more excercise and stop any of the medicine . As of now my bp is normal and i do not take any medication for bp.Please advise. YYYY@YYYY cc YYYY@YYYY In the mid last year
