What Is The Cause Of Abdominal Pain After Transplant?

i have been having severe abdominal pain off and on for several years now...i had a transplant in 09...the pain comes and goes but when i have it its unbearable...i have been to the er for it but they seem to not know whats causing it...any idea?

HI.
When you have a pain in abdomen, you should have consulted the operating team and the team which gives you the medicines for not allowing rejection to find out that these medicines are not causing this problem.
Check for your Blood counts, particularly urea and creatinine. If this is normal you can undergo CT scan of the abdomen to see what is causing this pain. You may also can have a second opinion of a Gastroenterologist.
This much care is important as you have gone through the transplant.
Consult a specialist team.
