What Is The Cause Of Bleeding From The Nose?

My 17 yr. old granddaughter started feeling out of it in a Zumba class at school today. During Zumba her nose started bleeding. It bled for 20 minutes with clots. After it stopped bleeding she got dizzy. So dizzy that she was seeing double and walked into a wall. We live in the Midwest; can this be caused from dry air?

Thanks for your query, I have gone through your query.
The bleeding from nose can be because of many reasons like hypertension, altered temperature, respiratory tract infection. Nothing to be panic, consult a ENT surgeon and get it evaluated. If it bleeds again, apply pressure over the nostril on the affected side to prevent bleeding.
I hope I have answered your query, take care.
