What Is The Cause Of Bleeding With Some Breaks?

Hi. ive been on femulen(POP) for five months now and all i had was breakthrough bleedings with some breaks. But in the last month it was constant but not heavy. I have took myself off it.. but i was wondering would my body ever get uses to the mini pill as im not allowed on combined as i got migraines thaks

Hi,

I think that menstrual irregularities can be due to hormonal irregularities also. I would suggest a thyroid profile test and prolactin test done. As thyroid abnormality can lead to these symptoms, also breakthrough bleeding can be due to minipill use, so I would suggest you to try non hormonal methods of contraception for 3 months.
