What Is The Cause Of Blocked And Drippy Nose?
I think i may have allergies to something - it is unknown to me. I have a blocked nose and it is super drippy (thin, clear). I've had terrible headaches two days before I became "ill". What do you think it may be? I live in Canada and it is still rainy and cold here. Also, most people have the cold.

Hello,
Blocked nose can be caused by various things like allergies as you said that can be seasonal,then certain infections.Sometimes it can be caused by structural abnormalities like deviated nasal septum (DNS) etc.
Treatment generally consist of nasal decongestant drops like xylometazoline,oxymetazoline etc.steam inhalation with the help of steamer is is very effective. Vapocaps preparations available in the market are also useful.For allergic cause antihistaminics like cetrizine 25mg at night is generally used.If associated fever is there like in infections then a course of antibiotic should be completed.

Hi,
Allergic rhinitis has symptom of running nose, sneezing , etching in nose eye throat ,redness in eye.....etc, which occurs in response to allergen (particle, thing , climate).
As you said it shows u r suffering from allergic rhinitis . Just try to prevent to which you are allergic to (as u don't know so use face mask when going to dusty environment , prevent itself from cold , some food you might have noticed after having u start having allergic reaction lik itchy throat should be avoided )
when symptomatic as now take combination of Levo cetrizine ,nasal deconjestant twice a day with saline gargle and steam inhalation thrice a day for 2days .
