What Is The Cause Of Blood Work Showing Bacteria And Ecoli?

Tested positive for mesa in urine and a facial abscess wound culture as well. On bactrim ds for 10 day. Highly concerned bc 6 mos prior I had an acute kidney attack, worst pain of life, was hospitalized with iv med due to pylonephritus and a renal abscess in my kidney. They never stated mrsa as bacteria then, I recall blood work showing bacteria and ecoli as well. It's all very bizarre and I had no history of any such issues until my son was born via section. My bladder doesn't act like it had, it leaks. As for acute attacks I've recognized a pattern now, it's 3rd one..all 6 mos apart. Is mRsa in urine, wounds also m dean it's, in my blood. What kind of Dr doesn't do blood culture knowing history???????

Hi and thanks fr the query,
this is indicative of an infection. A culture and sensitivity test to detect the appropriate anti biotic that could treat the infection and the normal number of required days of infection from your doctor are needed. See your doctor. The history is important for interpretation and orienting treatment. Kind regards
