Neurologist 's  Response
Hi,

Thank you for posting your query.

I have noted your symptoms. You require detailed evaluation.

The possibilities include a respiratory problem such as asthma, or a cardiac problem- poor pumping of heart.

In addition, we also need to exclude a diagnosis of sleep apnea.

Investigations such as pulmonary function tests, echocardiogram and sleep studies would help in making a correct diagnosis. After that, the correct treatment can be started and you can have normal sleep again.

I hope my answer helps. Please get back if you have any follow up queries or if you require any additional information.

Wishing you good health,

Dr Sudhir Kumar MD (Internal Medicine), DM (Neurology)
